Around the Ginestas lodges
Between the Mediterranean and the Cathar Countries

Around the Ginestas lodges, you will find a multitude of places to visit, offering a variety of cultural, historical and natural experiences. Here are some suggestions

Ginestas near the Canal du Midi and the unique atmosphere of the Somail port. A port, 5 historical monuments, a bookstore with 50,000 old books, 5 restaurants with terrace and musical atmosphere in season, the only grocer’s barge in France.

Near the gîte, a territory rich in discovery is offered to you, where vine culture and olive groves combine, in Bize Minervois you will discover the Oulibo olive cooperative. The Oulibo Cooperative is currently the largest olive cooperative in the Aude department. It receives olives from 3 departments: Aude, Hérault, Pyrénées Orientales. From fruit to oil, discover the work of the olive growers, the miller… and follow all the stages of the transformation, even in the producers’ shop.

Going a little further inland you will arrive at the town of Minerve which overlooks the Minervois region.
Bewitching. There are places that mark us, that touch us and seduce us. Minerva is the perfect example. It is first of all this exceptional natural site which surprises. Then, we feel the weight of history and we realize that we are not in a place like any other. So we let ourselves be seduced by all the curiosities offered to the eyes of the curious and attentive visitor… A visit not to be missed under any circumstances!

Close to Narbonne and the magnificent beaches of the Mediterranean,
Gruissan is one of the most beautiful villages in France with its famous Barberousse Tower. We all have this unmistakable postcard in mind when we arrive from Narbonne: that of a village located on the water between lagoons, the Mediterranean and scrubland.
